Relief Society Announcements: Week of December 11

Dear Sisters,
 
Here are this week's announcements:
 
1.    Next Sunday, December 18:  Special Stake Meeting:  10:00 a.m., at the Fishers' Building, 777 Sunblest Blvd., Fishers, IN 46038.  (There will be no meetings at the Wallace Street Building.) 
 
2.    Friday, December 16:  Ward Temple Night or Christmas Caroling:  You choose!  Caroling:  Please meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Rhoads’ home.

3.    Visiting Teaching:  Please be sure to visit with your sisters! 

4.    Missionary Christmas Packages:  Thank you to all who brought gifts for our missionaries!  They will feel very loved!

5.   The Giving Tree:  If you still would like to help with gifts, please  contact Sister Nieto.

6.    Temple Closed:  Please note that the Indianapolis Temple will be closed on Saturday, December 24 and Saturday, December 31.
 
7.    Christmas Day, December 25:  We will join with the Crosswards Ward for a 1-hour Sacrament Meeting beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Beech Grove Ward Christmas Dinner!

Relief Society Announcements Week of December 4, 2016

Dear Sisters,

Here are this week's announcements:

1.       Sister Helen Bland is in the hospital, St. Francis; Br. Brice Tomlinson is also in the hospital, VA Hospital.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

2.       Have you given out a Book of Mormon?  Please share your experience with us!

3.       Visiting Teaching Changes:  We are handing out changes; these changes are to start in December.  We have tried to move the routes so that it will be a bit more convenient for you to do your visiting teaching.  You may find that you are visiting teaching your visiting teacher!  And this is fine!  Only one visit is needed—when your visiting teachers come to visit you, you visit with them at the same time!

4.       The First Presidency Christmas Devotional:  This Evening, 8:00 p.m. 

5.       Missionary Christmas Packages:  We will continue our missionary packages through next Sunday.  Thank you to all who have brought gifts already! We are putting together Missionary Christmas Care packages for the missionaries serving from our Ward, Elder Luke Durtschi, Elder Matt Hutchison and Elder Jonathan Mark as well as for our Missionaries serving here in our Ward. 

6.       The Giving Tree:  There are still a few tags left on the tree, if you would like to help.  Please give your gifts to Sister Nieto or one of the YW/YM Presidency.

7.       Bishop's Storehouse:  We need two sisters to serve at the Bishops' Storehouse on Tuesday, December 6 at 8:00 a.m.  If you can help, please let Sister Molly Wentzel know.

8.       Christmas Caroling:  Friday, December 16, more information to come soon!

2.   Youth Temple Trip:  Tuesday, November 30, the youth need names to take for baptisms. Please contact Brother Barker or Sister Nieto if you have names.

5.   Missionary Christmas Packages:  We are putting together Missionary Christmas Care packages for the missionaries serving from our Ward, Elder Luke Durtschi, Elder Matt Hutchison and Elder Jonathan Mark as well as for our Missionaries serving here in our Ward.  We will be collecting items beginning now through the Ward Christmas Dinner on Saturday, December 3.  Gift suggestions:  Skittles, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Chocolate Twizzlers, Twix, Licorice, Socks (fuzzy socks for the sisters!), Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Hand Warmers, Quick Easy Recipes, $5 Gift Cards (McDonald's, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, Burger King, Steak 'n Shake, etc.).  Thank you for letting our missionaries know we love them and appreciate their service!
