July 17: Lots of Things Happening This Week!

Sister Doreen Banks:  Sister Banks continues to recover from hip surgery and would love to have some visitors!  She is at Forest Creek Village Nursing Home:  525 E. Thompson Road, Room 13.  Her phone number is:  317-791-2865.

July Relief Society Additional Meeting:  Please join us for the Relief Society Annual Cook-Out on Thursday, July 21, at 6:00 p.m. at Wanda Danz's Home, 7 Woodmont Court, Beech Grove.  We will provide hamburgers, buns and toppings; please bring a dish and/or dessert to share!  We hope you will come ready to swim and to enjoy an evening of visiting! 

June-July Relief Society Service Project:  The Relief Society is collecting new coloring books and crayons to be given to children at local hospital emergency rooms.  We will collect these items through Thursday, July 21.  Thank you for your service to our local community hospitals!

Ward Pioneer Day Celebration:  Saturday, July 23, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at President and Sister Bland's Home, 4401 Kerry Drive, Indianapolis.  Activities include:

• Dutch Oven Cook-Off & Contest:  Bring your favorite dutch oven (or crockpot) food to share
• Homemade Ice Cream Contest:  Bring your favorite flavor of homemade ice cream to share
• Pioneer Games
• Face Painting

Rolls and drinks will be provided.
