Here are the announcements for this week:
1. Thank you to all who attended our October Relief Society Additional Meeting: We had a wonderful time enjoying pumpkin dishes and shopping for treasures!
2. Thank you to those who were able to help by bringing in dinners for the Campbell family. We would like to continue bringing in meals for this family for the next 6-7 weeks. If you are able to help, please be sure to sign up through the Take Them A Meal website: http://www.takethemameal.com/ Last name: Campbell Password: 0008
3. Ward Camp Out: Friday-Saturday, October 14-15, Morgan-Monroe State Forest. Dinner is on your own on Friday night; pancake breakfast Saturday morning provided by the Elders' Quorum.
4. RS Stake Service Day, “Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself”: Saturday, October 22, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Sunblest Building. Four local charities will present ways in which we can serve in our community. Please see the flyers for more information. If you would like to carpool to the conference, please let one of the RS Presidency know as we are coordinating rides.
4. Ward Halloween Party: Saturday, October 29, 5:30 p.m. at the Shoaf’s home; Last names: A-P bring a sidedish; Q-Z bring a dessert. Please bring candy to hand out to the children. Prizes for best boy and girl costumer and best decorated trunk!
5. November Relief Society Additional Meeting: Thursday, November 3, 6:30 p.m. We will be having a Soup and Salad Dinner, Finishing up our year of service, and making a very cute “Thankful” sign. Please be sure to sign up if you would like to make a sign.
6. November Bishops' Storehouse Assignment: We need two sisters to serve at the Bishops' Storehouse on Tuesday, November 1, at 8:00 a.m. Please let Molly Wentzel know if you are able to help. Thank you!!!
